Prostitutes Slidell

Initial Investigations and Arrests

Police arrested a man for using a company check to pay a prostitute. Surveillance footage captured the incident at his workplace. Authorities uncovered a prostitution operation during a home invasion investigation in April 2019. The victim of the initial crime, 45-year-old Tammy Faye, was later implicated in the prostitution ring alongside Pacheco-Ayuso.

Undercover Operations and Regulatory Response

Multiple undercover operations targeted massage parlors in Slidell. In April 2018, police arrested four women at three locations for offering sexual services. Officers had responded to complaints about criminal behavior at these businesses. The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office discovered another prostitution operation while investigating a separate home invasion. Deputies found evidence linking both cases during follow-up work.

In response, the Slidell City Council imposed a seven-month moratorium on new massage parlors in April 2018. Officials used this time to develop stricter regulations for such establishments. Later operations continued targeting prostitution. In November 2019, “Operation Pay to Play” resulted in 24 arrests for procuring prostitution. Police conducted these stings at local motels.

Law Enforcement Involvement and Recent Cases

Other incidents involved law enforcement personnel. In August 2025, a New Orleans police officer was arrested for allegedly soliciting prostitutes while on duty. Separate cases involved Medicaid fraud and hit-and-run charges. Massage parlors remained under scrutiny. Covington police shut down another operation in November 2024 after monitoring a parlor on U.S. 190. Three women faced charges for running the alleged prostitution ring.
