Prostitutes Fort Bragg
A Fort Bragg soldier faces serious charges. Chad Johnson, 36, was arrested Tuesday for multiple counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
This incident is not isolated. Over the years, Fort Bragg personnel have been involved in numerous sex crime cases:
Prostitution-Related Crimes
Arrests include soldiers for solicitation of prostitution and felony sexual offenses. Authorities have conducted stings targeting prostitution near the base. Disturbingly, reports exist of a Fayetteville man allegedly forcing a 19-year-old Fort Bragg soldier into prostitution.
Child Exploitation
Soldiers repeatedly face charges like sexual exploitation of minors, soliciting sex from a child, and child sex abuse. Cases include a former soldier sentenced to 12 years for sex with a girl, a victim advocate facing child sex charges, and sergeants charged with multiple felony child sex offenses.
Ongoing Patterns and Recent Cases
Reports indicate a concerning pattern. Sex assaults reported at Fort Bragg increased by 28%. The problem extends beyond active duty with registered sex offenders in the area. Recent incidents include:
- August 2025: An Army special ops NCO charged with child sex crimes
- July 2025: A Fort Bragg sergeant faces child-sex charges
- June 2025: Chad Johnson’s arrest for sexual exploitation of a minor
While the base works to address these issues, the recurring nature of serious sex crime charges involving its personnel remains a significant concern.
