Prostitutes Cornelius

Mary Hooker Cornelius and Her Legacy

Mary Hooker Cornelius (1796-1880) wrote a popular domestic guide titled The Young Housekeeper’s Friend. This book, first published around 1862, featured various recipes and household advice. It reflected practical 19th-century home management. Revised editions appeared later, like one in 1862 by F. A. Brown & co.

The book is still available today in formats like paperback and hardcover. Modern reprints exist, such as an ISBN 9783734041075 version.
