On June 19, Boardman police conducted an operation using a website connection, leading to the arrests of 11 women and one man on prostitution-related charges. This followed a nationwide sweep targeting commercial child sex trafficking that resulted in twelve arrests locally.

Separately, Boardman Police served a search warrant at a local massage parlor business Monday morning after reports surfaced. Police received information alleging prostitution activities at Nana’s Massage Parlor. An investigation confirmed alleged prostitution, leading to a woman’s arrest.

Meanwhile, the Boardman Target store on Poland Road implemented a juvenile escort policy after months of reports about teenagers causing disruptions. The community also celebrates its youth sports achievements.
