The Stoughton High girls’ basketball team recently played against Attleboro. Preseason for Stoughton High fall sports is approaching, with football practices starting soon. Other teams like girls’ lacrosse, girls’ hockey, and indoor track and field are also active. The Stoughton girls’ swimming team won the 200-yard breaststroke relay at the Badger meet.

Kate Stoughton plays for the No. 15 Women’s Beach Volleyball team, finishing with an 11-4 overall record. Savannah Stoughton is an assistant coach for the UNCW women’s soccer program. Hannah Stoughton is on the Thiel College Women’s Lacrosse roster.

Community Events & Services

Stoughton Hospital received the 2025 Women’s Choice Award. The Stoughton Youth Commission provides accessible mental health services and outreach for local youth. A “Women through History” program was held at the Stoughton Public Library.

The Stoughton Area Sports Enhancement Academy hosts events. The Women’s Open Pistol Shoot welcomes members and non-members (fee applies). Chip-N-Sip golf sessions are available for members, with limited slots for social members. The Mandt Community Center will host the 2025 14u Girls Crumble Rumble tournament.

Local Organizations

Key groups include the Stoughton Youth Commission, League of Women Voters of Sharon-Stoughton, Salvation Army Thrift Stores, Stoughton Area Youth Soccer Association, and Wolcott Girls Softball Association. The Lodi Women’s Club Public Library and other regional libraries serve the community.
