Undercover Sting Operation

A Lauderhill man has been arrested on charges of prostitution after police say he agreed to pay an undercover detective for sex. The arrest occurred on Tuesday in the 1800 block of Northwest 55th Avenue, according to the Lauderhill Police Department.

Online Solicitation Tactics

Police said the man responded to an online advertisement and then met with the undercover detective. He allegedly agreed to pay the detective for sexual acts and was then taken into custody.

Criminal Charges Filed

The suspect faces one count of soliciting prostitution. He was booked into the Broward County Jail.
