Massage Parlor Stings

Police arrested a man for using a company check to pay a prostitute, uncovering a prostitution operation involving Tammy Faye. The Slidell Police Department initiated undercover operations due to complaints about criminal behavior in massage parlors. On April 16, 2018, four women were arrested after being found performing sexual favors for money at Slidell massage parlors. Similar operations led to arrests like Haiping Huang (53), Xiaoyan Chen (46), Suwei Li (48), and Tian Jing (48) booked for prostitution by massage.

Pattern of Investigations

Prostitution busts frequently emerged from unrelated probes. On April 23, 2019, law enforcement uncovered a prostitution ring while investigating a home invasion, implicating Tammy Faye (45) and Pacheco-Ayuso. The “Pay to Play” operation in November 2019 netted arrests including Anthony Henry Debarbieris Jr. (49). St. Tammany Parish deputies discovered another operation during a Slidell-area home invasion investigation on April 24, 2019. These incidents prompted the Slidell City Council to approve a moratorium on new massage parlors in April 2018.

Ongoing Activity and Arrests

Recent operations continue targeting prostitution. On August 13, 2025, an NOPD officer was arrested for prostitution and malfeasance. Verified escort ads proliferate online, while arrests like David Allen Henderson Jr. (55) in May 2024 for solicitation persist. Notable incidents include a July 17, 2014 case where a store employee used a $200 company check to pay a prostitute, caught on video. Six individuals were busted in a dedicated Slidell prostitution sting, with erotic massage parlors remaining operational.
