Prostitutes Kagoro
Elders in Kagoro community of Kaura local government area of Kaduna State have expressed worry over the increasing number of prostitutes in the area. The development, they said, has become a source of concern to the community.
Community Concerns and Proposed Actions
We have observed with dismay the influx of prostitutes into Kagoro and its negative impact on our youths and societal values. We cannot fold our arms and watch this menace destroy our moral fabric.
Following an emergency meeting, the elders announced plans to rehabilitate identified prostitutes through skill acquisition programs. They also resolved to collaborate with law enforcement agencies to stricter enforcement of laws against solicitation.
Call for Unity and Enforcement
The elders called on landlords to be vigilant about tenant activities and urged parents to monitor their children closely. They emphasized the community’s commitment to restoring moral standards: We are determined to reclaim the dignity of Kagoro. This fight requires everyone’s participation.
