Prostitutes Johnson City
Four people connected to two Johnson City businesses were arrested on prostitution-related charges. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) conducted the undercover operation.
Multiple Arrests and Charges
In a separate incident, an Assistant District Attorney was charged in a prostitution sting and fired from their job. Johnson City Police also reported the arrests of 11 people for engaging in prostitution or illegally using the services of prostitutes.
Specific arrests include:
- Hanmei Zhao, Chunhua Wang, and Tang Yingping were charged with impersonation of a licensed professional, massage or exposure of an erogenous area, and prostitution-related offenses.
- Bryan M. Leonard, 34, of Johnson City, was charged with promoting prostitution.
- Fred W. Carr, 40, was also arrested in a raid.
